It’s coming up!

I am amazed how time goes by so quickly, in just about two weeks I will have been married to Chris for a year! It’s pretty crazy that it’s already been that long. I have been enjoying every minute of it. It’s nice to know I’m spending the rest of my life with my best friend, someone who loves me with all their heart, is there for me through thick and thin, is one to laugh with and one to cry on. I feel very lucky and I’m very happy.

I am grateful for so many things. I am grateful for one year of marriage.

Kids in my class..

Teaching can be a very tiresome job, but truly, it is a very rewarding job. Especially when you have kids in your class that come up to you and give you a random hug, just because or draw you a picture over the weekend.

My favorite line that was told to me today was..
"I think you are the bestest teacher I have ever had before, I mean it really..you are."
Two other girls are at her side and say, " Yes, we think you are too."
They all three give me a hug.

All you can do is smile when you think about that and have that said to you.

Spinning..

It’s funny how music can be with me. I sit here with my headphones on listening to a mix CD that I made Chris when we first started dating and how these songs that are playing, spinning around my head, brings me back to that time, those memories, feelings, not only with him but just life in general. To some people music is just music, but to me music is personal. Music can do many things to me, I have some songs that I will listen to over and over, and there are others than I plan to never listen to again, or just have a real hard time listening to. It sounds crazy, but it’s true. Music is special to me, very special to me.
